Sometimes words fall into my lap, as it were. I was just reading
this article on why testicles are on the outside, and came across the line:
How can a trait such as scrotality (to use the scientific term for possessing a
scrotum), with all the obvious handicaps it confers, fit into this framework?
I'm never using either
masculinity or
manhood again.
I don't think I shall add a picture to this post. It'd be nuts.
Erudite and witty as ever, Mark Forsooth! TC-G
ReplyDeleteCareful what you say Mark. To call someone a "scrote" is not meant as a compliment to their masculinity.
ReplyDeleteDespite the obvious disadvantages it's all to do with temperature apparently! (But then pants and trousers came along, I expect nature will address this problem in time)
ReplyDeleteFascinating article and good link...
ReplyDeleteLaurie -
Love your last line.
ReplyDeleteSomething to be discussed with fashion leader Eldridge Cleaver - from his past designs for trousers
ReplyDeleteI hope you are considering writing a cod piece.
