The Night Before Halloween


Just a link to a map of the USA with the various terms for "the night before Halloween". I never knew that there were any terms for it.

    In Yorkshire "mischievous night" was traditionally the night before 5 November, it being the time when Guy Fawkes & his mates planted the gunpowder supposedly.

    We refer to it as "Trick or Treat night".
